Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 July 2026

In Five (in5dev.com) is a YouTube channel operated by Marquie Data Systems LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what data our applications access and how we handle it, including our use of YouTube API Services.

Use of YouTube API Services

Our content-automation tool uses YouTube API Services. By authorizing it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of Google/YouTube data through our tool is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

You can revoke our access at any time via your Google Account security settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions.

What we access

Our tool authenticates only the channel owner’s own Google/YouTube account. It is a single-user, first-party tool — it does not access, collect, or process data from viewers, subscribers, or any other users through the API. Specifically it uses:

How we use it

We use this access solely to operate our own channel (@in5dev): uploading private video drafts for human review, setting our videos’ metadata, and reading our own analytics to plan our content schedule.

Storage & retention

Video files, metadata, and analytics snapshots are stored transiently on our own infrastructure and kept only as long as needed to operate the channel. OAuth credentials are stored in a restricted local file and are never shared. We do not build profiles of any individuals from YouTube data.

Data retention & deletion

We retain Google/YouTube API data only transiently — for as long as needed to perform the requested operation (for example, uploading a video) — and delete working copies once they are no longer needed. We do not retain YouTube user data beyond what is required to operate our own channel.

You may revoke this application’s access to your Google account at any time via Google security settings, which immediately stops all further access. To request deletion of any Google user data we may hold, revoke access and/or email us at peter.marquie@marquiedatasystems.com, and we will delete it promptly. Because the application is single-user (the channel owner) and does not process any other person’s data, there is no third-party user data to retain or delete.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share YouTube API data — or any Google user data — with third parties. We do not use it for advertising and do not transfer it to data brokers.

Newsletter & website

If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect your email address on in5dev.com when you submit the landing-page form. A Cloudflare Worker on our domain receives the address and forwards it to our email provider (Beehiiv) to add you to the list; we do not store newsletter sign-ups in a separate database. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. The public site is otherwise static and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

Our content and services are directed at adults (18+) and are not intended for children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here.
